Reno Shasta-Trinity National Forest is issuing a negotiated contract to perform multi-task, labor intensive reforestation work in Humboldt, Siskiyou, Trinity and Del Norte Counties, California, Six Rivers and Klamath National Forests. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, tree planting, seedling protector installation, manual release and grubbing, precommercial thinning and/or release and other unforeseen miscellaneous projects that may arise. The contract will provide for a four year renewable option with a guardanteed minimum of $10,000 and a maximum of $750,000 per contractor per bid item. The estimated start date is June 1, 1998.
