Roberts, Regional Director/Contracting Officer, 415 975-4680 Requests for proposal for the operation of the Treasure Island Job Corps Center located in San Francisco, California, will be available approximately April 20, 1998, for issue in response to written requests, and for electronic access via the Internet at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/index.html. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period January 1, 1999 through December 31, 2001, plus three (3) governmental unilaterally renewable options of one year. The approximate average on board student strength of the center is 850, consisting of 370 residential males, 350 residential females, 65 non-residential males, and 65 non-residential females. There will be a tour of the facility on April 30, 1998, at 9:00AM local time, convening at Bldg. 369 on Treasure Island. Participants will be required to provide and wear hard hats for the tour. A pre-proposal conference will be convened, immediately following the facility tour, in Bldg. 369. Closing date for submission of proposals in responseto RFP IX-98-64 shall be June 26, 1998, at 4:00PM local time.
