Q -- MEDICAL UTILIZATION REVIEW POC Myrtle Jay, (808)586-5424 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL The Department of Human Services, State of Hawaii, is soliciting sealed proposals from federally qualified peer review organizations (PRO), PRO-like entities, or nationally accredited organizations performing under 42 U.S.C. 1396 (a)(30) Sec. 1902 (C). The organization will perform Utilization Reviews of acute care hospitals and free standing Ambulatory Service Centers, (ASC's), will make Level of Care (LOC) determination, will provide information on long term care (LTC) options to recipients and will serve as the External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) for the Hawaii QUEST Program (Hawaii's 1115 Medicaid Managed Care Waiver).
