DIGITAL THREAT MODEL DEVELOPMENT Solicitation F33600-97-R-0057. Notice of Contract Action for a full and open competitive acquisition. The Air Force is seeking a contractor who will provide the National Air Intelligence Center (NAIC) with a robust digial threat model development and maintenance capabillity to support the users of intelligence. Areas supported by NAIC include: research and development, test and evaluation, operations training and national policy making. Specifically, this effort will provide NAIC the ability to produce and maintain Verified and Validated Joint Modeling and Simulation System (J-MASS) compliant digital threat models of systems within the NAIC areas of responsibility. The contract type for this acquisition will be a five year single-award time and material contract with a ceiling of $95,000,000. The RFP will not be released sooner than 15 days after this announcement. The RFP will be issued electronically via the world wide web, on the Aeronautical System Center (ASC) Preaward Information Exchange System (PIXS) at "HTTP://WWW.PIXS.WPAFB.AF.MIL/pixs/pixslibr/DTMDM/DTMDM.asp".
