U -- ELECTRICAL STANDARDS COURSE SOL N00189-98-R-0056 DUE 060998 POC Diane Chamption, 757-443-1343 This modification supercedes the original synopsis (Cite W-083 SN182295) and modification (Cite W-085 SN183352) of Solicitation N00189-98-R-0056 in their entirety. The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed price provisions for the instruction of a course for Electrical Standards as required by the Naval Occupational Safety and Health, and Environmental Training Center, Norfolk, VA. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with 4 option years. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Part I -- In order to streamline the acquisition process, all responsible sources must submit resumes and past performance data to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center by 2:00 p.m. on 04 May 1998. The RFP will be issued approximately 21 April 1998. If resumes are determined to be unacceptable by the technical evaluation committee, offeror will not be given the opportunity to correct the resumes. Only those offerors whose resumes are determined to be acceptable will continue to Part II -- Evaluation for Award. Part II consists of the technical proposal which will be an oral presentation; the price proposal; and past performance evaluation. The RFP will close on 9 June 1998. Requests for the solicitation must state that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, orotherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency.
