The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include protection of the spillway; removing and reinstalling existing rock debris fence; installing rock fence along the top of the slope; cleaning debris and loose material (rock and soil) down to clean rock from the top of the slope in a strip about 3 to 4 feet wide; torque, tighten, and paint existing rock bolts; drilling 2-inch diameter holes and installing steel pipe for anchorages as required for access to work site; scaling loose material from slope; providing rock fall protection; preparing the surfaces of the left spillway wall, spillway chute floor, and stilling basin floor by hydroblasting; and excavating existing concrete and replacing concrete in the top of the right stilling basin wall, right wall of spillway overflow section, left wall of stilling basin, and spillway chute floor at end of manway drain.
