Henry (505) 342-3454 (Site Code DACA47) Description of work: Competition for this acquisition is restricted to eligible 8(a) contractors located in the Albuquerque Small Business Administration District which have SIC Code 1522 among their approved SIC Codes. The SBA Requirement Number is 0682/98/802808. The project consists of construction of two new buildings: a three-story dormitory of approximately 29,000 SF; and a three-story student dormitory of approximately 32,000 SF. The dormitories are to be constructed of concrete foundation, slab on grade, cast-in-place concrete beams, and precast hollow-core planks. The exterior will consist of CMU walls, precast panels, and standing-seam metal roofs. The buildings include fire suppression and fire-alarm systems. The mechanical systems include a fan coil unit system with air-cooled chiller, gas-fired heating water boiler, and EMCS system. Both buildings have associated site work, utilities, and paving. This is a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The magnitude of construction is between $5 and $10 Million and the SIC code is 1522. Bonding will be required for this acquisition.
