Z -- ROAD MAINTENANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 209 MILES OF DIRT ROAD SOL K910R980040 DUE 042498 POC Lou Maestas, Contracting Officer; Telefax No: 307/775-6317 Furnish all labor and equipment necessary to accomplish and road maintenance of approximately 209 miles of dirt road by maintaining and constructing drainage ditches and reshaping and crowning the road surface. The government expects to award an "Labor-Hour" contract and may require that 3 hours of effort will be spent on each mile of road. Basically the work will consist of preventative maintenance by grading fill material out of the borrow ditches onto the roadway, shaping of the cut slopes, smoothing and crowning of the roadway, and constructing drainage ditches as required. The work will be located in Sweetwater, Sublette, Lincoln, and Uinta Counties of Wyoming at sites deginated on the attached work and project location maps. The resulting contractor will be required to furnish one motor grader with tandem or all-wheel drive. The fly-wheel horsepower shall be at least 135 FWHP and shall be equiped with power operated blade no less than 12 feet in length. An accurate hour meter shall be supplied with the blade. Tcontractor shall begin work at the roads designated by the Contracting Officer and dependent on soil moisture conditions.
