There are two restrooms on the second and third floors, and four restrooms on the first floor. The work includes demolition of the restrooms, new ceramic wall and floor tile, new partitions, new fixtures, accessories and incidental piping, painting and electrical, and incidental removal of pipe insulation that may be ACM. The work is to be performed at the Roswell Job Corps Center in Roswell, New Mexico. The estimated cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Specifications shall be available on or about May 5, 1998, from the Architect/Engineering firm of Beryl Durham & Associates Architects, AIA, 102 N. Canyon Street, Carlsbad, NM 88220. It is emphasized that requests for Plans and Specifications should be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in writing and will be available on a first-come, first serve basis until the initial supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents plus shipping charges (if applicable) based on the individual request will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. Pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for May 26, 1998, at 1:00 P.M. local time at the Center. Bid Opening date is June 9, 1998, at 11:00 A.M. at the Architect/Engineering office mentioned above.
