Requirements contract for a base year with two option periods is contemplated. Contractor shall be required to perform all labor, equipment, supplies/materials necessary to perform asbestos abatement. Work includes, but is not limited to, isolation and protection of work area and protection of adjacent spaces. Contractor shall be required to remove asbestos from pipes, HVAC ductwork, boiler, furnaces, wall and/or ceiling surfaces, ceiling tile and grid, roof flashing, roof felt and mastic, etc. The magnitude of the project is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition is subject to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988; therefore, will be solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Subsequent award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. An evaluation preference for SmallDisadvantaged Business Concerns will be contained in the solicitation. SIC 1522/$17.0 Million. For the purpose of determining small business status for this requirement, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $17.0 million in order to be considered a small business.
