Solicitation is for the acquisition of six (6) laser range finders able to range hard targets from 50 meters to 8,000 meters, measuring distancae to cloud base when pointed in the vertical position provided that the clouds are dense enough to enable a reading. The laser rangefinder must come with carrying case, battery, an extra set of batteries, should provide digital readout of range in either meters or feet and be capable of performing at least 600 separate measurements on a single set of batteries or a single battery charge operation. Demonstration may be required. NOTE; When quoting on an equal range finder, descriptive literature must accompany the bid to enable the government to evaluate bids.
