70 -- ANATECH EAGLE 4080C COLOR SCANNER POC Deborah Walsh (CO) (703) 649-7384 The U.S. Geological Survey intends to purchase the following used equipment on a sole-source basis using simplified acquisition procedures from the 3M Commercial Graphics Division: (1) ANAtech Eagle 4080C Color Scanner with 800 dpi optical resolution, 40 inch wide document feed, 24 bit RGB color, 7 camara CCD, single pass color scanning SCSI-2 interface, year 2000 compliant. This ANAtech Scanner has been used at the U.S. Geological Survey in conjunction with the USGS/3M Cooperative Research and Develpment Agreement (CRADA) and currently resides at the Rocky Mountain Mapping Agency in Denver, Colorado. The USGS intends to retain this scanner, at a substantially discounted price, to support the National Mapping Division printing requirements, as all calibration and accuracy testing have been completed and meet Division standards.
