Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Ultralife Batteries (UK) Ltd., 18
Nuffield Way, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 1TG, England, on a sole
source basis, for further research and development of conformal solid
polymer electrolyte and conformal Li/MnO2 batteries. Both technologies
must be able to operate under high impulsive accelerations (100,000
g), high spin, and low temperatures to support instrumenting various
smart weapons platforms. The BOA would run for a period of 5 years.
Individual requirements will be negotiated based on the factors of that
requirement and be awarded under the BOA terms and conditions. Pricing
shall be determined on each individual contract order based on current
and historical data. The applicable SIC code is 8711 with a dollar
standard of $2,5M. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal,
or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. See Notes 22 and
