The USAID Mission to Nicaragua is soliciting applications from U.S. Private Voluntary Organizations (USPVOs) and local not-for profit non-governmental organizations (LNGOs) working in Nicaragua to work in close coordination with Nicaragua's Ministry of Health (MINSA) as well as the private sector to improve the delivery of primary care health services, specifically for maternal and child health, at the grassroots level in three select health districts. The Mission anticipates awarding three Cooperative Agreements for the purpose of improving maternal child health care services in the departments of Jinotega, Matagalpa, and Boaco. These Cooperative Agreements will run for approximately 48 months. RFA NO. 98-05 for this requirement will be available on or about April 8, 1998. Interested parties shall contact Martin F.
