AUXILIARY DRY CARGO T-ADC(X) SUPPORT SHIPS NAVSEA seeks potential shipbuilders and designers for the new Auxiliary Dry Cargo Ship (T-ADC(X)) to attend a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) program demonstration on underway replenishment cargo flow. This demonstration is a hands-on interactive training session designed to introduce the M&S program to industry. NAVSEA intends to use the M&S program to support the acquisition of T-ADC(X). It is envisioned as a potential design aid for proposal preparation, and may also be used in the source selection process to evaluate design proposals. The M&S program demonstration is scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of April, 1998 at 8:30AM in the NAVSEA Simulation Site, 6th floor, Century Building (NC4), 2341 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, VA. Space is limited so reservations are required and limited to two per company on a first come first serve basis. Companies are encouraged to send technical personnel involved in the design of cargo stowage and handling systems who would potentially be the users of the M&S program.
