TRAINING ACQUISITION REFORM ACCELERATION DAY III. The Defense Information Systems Agency will be hosting Acquisition Reform Acceleration Day III on Wednesday, 6 May 1998 from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM at the Crystal Forum, Crystal City, VA. Local government agencies and local industry are invited to participate in this one-day conference. The focus of the conference is to provide the latest information and training related to Acquisition Reform Initiatives, to familiarize the participants with the ongoing developments in Acquisition Reform and will highlight the FAR Part 15 Rewrite, the FAR Part 45 Rewrite, the Changing Role of the CIO, the Year 2000 Issue, the revisions to the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act requirements, Past Performance initiatives, the DISA Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DARS) and Deskbooks, and the DISA ASC Process.
