This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contract line item 0001 is for285 EA of Vane Assy, Turb, 4th Stage (NSN 2840000218170RW, P/N 6846995). Size/Dimensions: 7" L x 3" W x 5" H; Form/Fit/Function Description: The 4th Stage Vane Assy are retained rotationally by the tangs on the 3rd Stage Vane segment which protrudes into the outer rim of the 4th Stage Vane segment. Vane Assy shrouds the knives on the wheel and spacers to form an air seal. Air seal increases turbine efficiency by minimizing air leakage between vane and rotor; Predominant Material of Manufacture: steel. Material is to be delivered to Kelly AFB, TX (FB2059) as follows: 285 EA -- Jun 98. Inspection and Acceptance are at origin and FOB are at destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
