Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk Detachment Washington is seeking sources
to procure an Automated Letter and Bar-Coding Letter/Flat Sorting
Machine. FISC is looking to trade in their current sorter for a sorter
to sort both letter and flat mail. The sorter will be able to: 1)sort
mail up to 3/8" thickness; 2)sort both outgoing and incoming mail;
3)sort presosrt first and bulk mail; 4)be able to encode mail off-line;
5)produce current United States Postal Service (USPS)Forms (PS Forms)
that are acceptable by USPS; 6)sorter must have the most up to date
Advance Technology Reader (ATR) that can read proportional as well as
non-proportional fonts with a 96% percent or better accuracy; 7)the
sorter will have a guaranteed installation with a 90 day acceptance
agreement. Offerors will be asked to submit three proposals, one
proposal for full purchase price, one proposal for a 36 month lease to
own, and one proposal for a 48 month least to own. Responses are
