Shall be mineral composition, subangular in shape, contain no free metallics, be medium or standard grade 40 material, be "free silica" (less than 1%). To be used at existing facilities at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201-4199. Shall be used to blast clean metal surfaces, such as vehicle components and hardware, for removing rust, scale, and old painting and to provide surfaces that are clean and suitable for plating, coating, and painting. Quanities are 175 tons (bulk) and 7500 bags. This is a nego tiated procurement with only one source, Unimin Corporation, 258 Elm Street, New Canaan, CT. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c)(1).
