The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-03. A sole source justification is being provided for this procurement. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is for renewal of Oracle support only for Bronze Quarter Arrears support for HP 98XX, IBM RS6000, Solaris, DEC Alpha, Windows 95, Windows, and Windows NT. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 12:00 noon CST 4/9/98 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
