The purpose of this acquisition is to modify existing Contract No. DAAB07 95 C-D318 to extend the time of the contract during which time GloMo documentation will be generated describing the testbeds and analyzing the results. It will also cover the development of a technical architecture for a future technical infrastructure. This acquisition will be processed non-competitively under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), Only One Responsible Source. Both required tasks demand a complete knowlede of all of the contracts of all of the GloMo contractors. Only SRI possess this knowledge. The initial solicitation was made via a BAA and therefore under full and open competition. The cost for this acquisition is estimated to be $350,000.
