The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery -- requirements contract for U.S. Naval ships' exterior surface preservation. Services are to be performed F.O.B. Destination in the San Diego area as authorized by individual task orders issued by the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, USN, San Diego (SUPSHIP). Period of performance consists of a one-year base period and two one-year option periods, commencing 01 October 1998. Effort may be required outside normal working hours, including weekends. This procurement is being conducted under SIC 1721. Accordingly, the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (48 CFR 19.1001-1007) applies. Successful offeror must have, or obtain, a DUNS number, CAGE code and TIN prior to contract award.
