The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through full and open competition non-personal Engineering Technical Services for the Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit by qualified personnel. The proposed procurement consists of one (1) task: 32137. Task 32137 supports the P-3C UPDATE II aircraft. This is for a Communication Navigation Identification (CNI) billet The basic contract period is 1 August 1998 through 30 September 1998. The task will also contain two (2) twelve month option periods and one (1) ten month option period. The period of performance, inclusive of options, will total 36 man months. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for a Contractor Maintenance Service Representative as appropriate. The place of performance is as follows: Task 32137 -- NAS Barbers, HI. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
