INTERAGENCY SMALL BUSINESS FAIR HOSTED BY FIVE AREA DC AGENCIES THURSDAY, MAY 21, 1998 INTERAGENCY SMALL BUSINESS FAIR HOSTED BY FIVE AREA DC AGENCIES Thursday, May 21, 1998 On Thursday, May 21, 1998 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Executive Office of the President of the United States, Department of Health and Human Services, Interior, Justice, and State will be hosting an Interagency Small Business Fair at the Holiday Inn Capitol. The purpose and goal for this event is to provide a networking opportunity for small, small disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned businesses to meet one-on-one with acquisition, procurement and technical officials from the Department of Justice, Department of State, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Interior, the Executive Office of the president of the United States, GSA, and SBA. This is your chance to discuss pertinent contracting issues with these agencies, as well as discuss the acquisition process and how to identify the products and services purchased by these agencies. Companies who have and interest in doing business with these agencies, as well as companies who want to increase their share of the federal market are encouraged to attend and network with key purchasing officials from these agencies. Special emphasis is now being placed on assisting small women-owned businesses to gain exposure and access to the federal government. We highly recommend women-owned business to attend this outreach program.
