The work includes, but is not limited to asbestos (ACM) and lead paint removal; replacement of exterior stairs and walkways; exterior windows; interior doors; cover existing ceramic tile walls with furring strips, insulation & gypsum wallboard; provide all new finishes; replace HVAC system; remove existing plumbing & replace with new; replace existing light fixtures, receptacles, switches, panelboards and fire detection system; replace pole mounted transformers w/exterior pad mounted; replace overhead electrical service w/underground service; demolition and cons- struction of a two-story addition; new sidewalks, stairs and driveways; provide landscaping. All work to be performed under a single lump sum firm fixed- price contract. The solicitation will be available o/a 8 May 98. The performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered as the solicitation will be issued under full and open competition.
