This notice is a combined solicitation/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The purpose of this procurement is to provide to the Government various electronic switch boxes as described in the following listed specification, paragraphs 1 through 5.1: NASA AMES RESEARCH CENTER PLANT ENGINEERING BRANCH (JFP) SPECIFICATION (MICHAEL J. MCINTYRE) 1. SCOPE: 1.1 Title: Switch Boxes: Provide 1.2 Location of work: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. 2. REFERENCES: a. None 3. REQUIREMENTS: 3.1 Provide new, to the Government, the following listed Switch Boxes with associated components: Description: Quantity: (1) Switch Box, 6 input channels, terminal strip 25 each input connections with two(2) isolated terminals per channel, single BNC output connection, single rotary switch channel selector, (no transducer excitation required) packaged in a NEMA 4X or NEMA 12 case with mounting hardware. (2) Switch Box, 10/12 input channels, terminal 55 each strip input connections with two(2) isolated terminals per channel, single BNC output connection, single rotary switch channel selector, (no transducer excitation required), packaged in a NEMA 4X or NEMA 12 case with mounting hardware. (3) Switch Box, 3 input channels, terminal strip 3 each input connections with two(2) isolated terminals per channel, 3 BNC output connections, (no transducer excitation required), packaged in a NEMA 4X case with mounting hardware. (4) Switch Box, 2 input channels, terminal strip 3 each input connections with two(2) isolated terminals per channel, 3 BNC output connection, (no transducer excitation required), packaged in a NEMA 4X case with mounting hardware. 4. NOTES: 4.1 None 5. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL(GFM): 5.1 None The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-04. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3679 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center is required within 60 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above may be mailed or faxed to the identified point of contact; Michael J.
