To abandon seventeen (17) existing groundwater monitoring wells at the Federal Energy Technology Center, 3610 Collins Ferry Road, Morgantown, WV 26507-0880. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove the monitoring wells. The groundwater monitoring wells will be abandoned as per a statement of work (to be issued later) and ASTM Standard D 5299-92, Standard guide for decommissioning of ground water wells, vadose zone monitoring devices, boreholes, and other devices for environmental activities. All work will conform to the regulations in West Virginia 47CSR59 (Title 47 Series 59), Monitoring Well Regulations and 47CSR60 (Title 47 Series 60), Monitoring Well Design Standards. Firms must have previous experience, in accordance with EPA approved RCRA procedures, personnel must have current OSHA Hazardous Waste Training. Drillers must have current license from West Virginia Dept EPA as certified well drillers. 2.
