The Western Governors' Association is seeking bids for technical support, facilitation and administrative support (including travel and meeting arrangement services) for Interstate Technology and Regulatory Cooperation Working Group (ITRC). The ITRC is a working group comprised of state regulatory agency personnel with participating federal agency, environmental, community, and business stakeholder members. The purpose of the ITRC is to develop regulatory guidance documents to assist state agencies in expediting the review and acceptance of more cost effective and efficient characterization, remediation, and monitoring technologies. Contractor support for the ITRC is being sought for Administrative/Facilitative, Technical, Communications, and Project Evaluation services. Potential contractors can bid on any or all of these four task areas. However, interested partes should be aware that the successful bidder for any of three task areas (Administrative/Facilitative, Technical, Communications) will be ineligible for award of the Project Evaluation task area. Bid packages are available from WGA. Proposals are due May 1, 1998. The contract for ITRC support will run from mid-May through January 30, 1999. (0097)
