Work includes a retail store, workroom, loading dock and equipment, support areas, and covered carrier parking. The building will be constructed using a steel frame, cavity masonry walls, concrete slab on grade, adhered single ply roof membrane system, standing seam metal roofs, metal stud and typsum board interior partitions and acoustical ceilings. Complete plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems will include roof top units, power, lighting, and alarm systems, two security camera systems, limited fire suppression systems and fire protection systems. Site development includes parking for postal vehicles, loading dock maneuvering area, fencing, masonry screen walls, signage and site lighting. Also included is the development of a separate, adjacent site of 1.8 acres for customer and employee parking, mail drop box area, fencing, signage, landscaping and lighting. Development includes paying/obtainingall permits, for offsite work such as entrance permits (the project is on a government owned site, building/construction permits are not required), tap connections and utility connections/development. The project sie consists of two parcels at the northeast and southeast corners of North Avenue and Salem Ave. The estimated price range is between $2.0 million and $2.6 million with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
