The United States Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive request for quotations to replace air conditioning in Building 1425 at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA 01731-1806. The work is to include, but not limited to the provision of all parts, labor, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove one 15-Ton compressor/condenser and two 7.5-Ton air handlers and replace with two new HVAC rooftop units. A firm fixed price purchase order is planned with an expected period of performance of 15 calendar days after notice to proceed, with the exception of long lead items which shall be verified in writing from the supllier to the Contracting Officer. The magnitude of this purchase osrder is between $25,000 and $100, 000. All interested parties should respond in writing only within 15 calendar days of this notice. A site visit will be held on April 24, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. at Building 1425. All quotes are due Tuesday, April 28, 1998, not later than 2:00 p.m. All work will be completed in strict accordance with the Statement of Work. Statement of Work will be made available from Hanscom AFB MA construction contracting on April 22, 1998. Statement of Work may be picked up at Building 1520 or the site visit.
