The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) intends to purchase from Visual Instrumentation Corp., in Lancaster CA services non personal to repair and maintain the Air Force supplied Locam model 50-0006 16mm high speed cameras used on board high performance military aircraft recording pictorial information in flight test environment. Period of performance is the date of award through 30 Sep 2000. Repair services for 33 each cameras to include: inspection, cleaning, lubing, adjusting, replacing worn or defective parts, checking operation of equipment to factory specifications, repair of electronic components and preventative maintenance. The Government intends to negotiate a contract with Visual Instrumentation Corporation unless responses to this notice reveal other sources capable of satisfying the entire requirement at more favorable prices and terms. Interested parties have 15 days from date of this publication to submit literature, catalogs and/or brochures that will meet this requirement. Failure to supply the requested information may result in the Government not being able to technically evaluate your capability. Anticipated award date is 30 days from the date of this notice.
