59 -- GYRO SETS AND INCLINOMETERS SOL N00253-98-R-0006 DUE 052298 POC Victor Angkico (360) 396-5671 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit for the following items: Rate Gyro Set IS90, Thomson Marconi P/N 91560412, 12 each; and Inclinometer JS31, Thomson Marconi P/N 91331973, 12 each, utilizing the policy and procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisitions. Delivery of the items will be approximately 12 months after award. The acquisition will be issued on a sole source basis to SFIM Inc. (a subsidiary of AVIAC), 2701 Forum Drive, Grand Prairie, TX. SFIM Incorporated, manufactures the parts for Thomson Marconi and possesses the proprietary drawings required for manufacture. The units are used in the AN-SQQ-32 sonar system. The interface of the units to the AN-SQQ-32 sonar system are proprietary to SFIM. No specifications or drawings are available for competitive procurement.
