DTNH22-98-R-05142 DUE 060898 POC Henrietta R. Mosley, Contract
Specialist, (202) 366-9570 The objective of this procurement is to
identify potentially effective interventions that address the problems
associated with premature graduation of children from car seats to
seat belts. Interventions shall be broadly defined, and the Contractor
shall consider a full range of intervention modes. Potentially
effective interventions shall be those deemed to have a reasonable
likelihood of influencing behavior to reduce the misuse problem, while
also being practical in terms of implementation. Over the course of
this project, the Contractor shall address the issue of booster seats

progress that may be expected in the use of booster seats, and where
alternatives may be needed. In carrying out this project, the
Contractor shall first collect information that defines the general
context in which the interventions to be identified by this project
will need to operate. The Contractor then shall generate candidate
interventions, and assess their potential. Results shall be presented
in a final report. It is contemplated that a cost reimbursement type
