Minot Air Force Base, ND, is seeking qualified firms to provide design services for the design of a new 38,000 square foot youth center. The project is to include new indoor youth soccer area, multi-purpose space/youth basketballcourt, free play area, teen center, snack bar, administration offices, storage and mechanical spaces. Work also includes the design of a parking area, outdoor basketball courts, fenced playground, and a renovation of an existing softball court at Minot AFB, ND. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: 1.) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2.) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3.) Capacity to accomplish the work in required time; 4.) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5.) Location in the general geographical area of theproject and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided, that the application of this criteria leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project. A-E firms desiring consideration should submit a completed Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255. SF 254 and SF 25 are also required for consultants or joint firms. The firm should indicate if they utilize computer aided-design/drafting software. This is not a request for proposal. Response to this notice must be received no later than close of business on 07 May 98 in order to be considered. Cover letters and unnecessarily elaborate brochures, or other presentations beyound those sufficient to present a complete and effective response are not desired.
