Contractor provides Training Development and Training Course Delivery servicewide in addition to a wide variety of Project Support in the Remote Sensing area. Subject areas of deliverables include Advanced Aerial Photo Use, Remote Sensing, GPS and GIS Applications to Ecosystem Management problems. The contract provides liaison with remote sensing applications programs in Forest Fire Suppression, Forest Health monitoring, Law Enforcement, Federal Emergency Management activities, and a variety of interdepartmental and interagency programs that utilize remote sensing to address problems of national and international scope. The contractor provides support to other RSCA program in computer assisted image analysis; image data acquistion using digital cameras, video, scanners, and film cameras; techniques development; and special purpose programs (software) development. Contractor provides training in how to use National Data Procurement products (a variety of satellite imagery purchased by the Forest ServiceProcurement of ADP hardware and software) to do Image Analysis, and to intergrate Remote Sensing with GIS for Forest Service Ecosystem Management application.
