USAFE CONTRACTING SQUADRON (USAFE CONS) ADVANCE PLANNING BRIEFING TO INDUSTRY ON THE RHEIN MAIN BASE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT, RHEIN MAIN, GERMANY The United States Air Forces in Europe Contracting Squadron will host an Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry Conference 13-15 May 98 on the Rhein Main AB Base Maintenance Contract. Included will be a site visit of Rhein Main AB, Germany and discussions with Industry focusing on the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP)and Draft Performance Work Statements (PWS)which will be available for access by 20 APR 98 on the USAFE Contracting Squadron's (USAFE CONS)Web Site: http://www.usafe.af.mil/joint/cons/cons.html. Industry shall submit by email written questions/comments on the draft RFP and draft PWS' to the Contracting Officer, Betsy Matich, betsy.matich@ramstein.af.mil, no later than 4 May 98. Panel members will consist of USAFE CONS personnel, Administering Contracting Office personnel, Rhein Main AB Functional Area Chiefs, and Rhein Main AB Quality Assurance Evaluators. The purpose of the briefing is to foster partnership between Industry and Government in meeting the European base maintenance services needs.
