equipment and transportation necessary to remove and replace
approximately 100 cubic yards of sewage bed filtering sand and dispose
material in a certified landfill in accordance with federal, state,
and local regulations. Also provide new polyethylene sheeting along
perimeter of filter beds and construct a lightweight structure that
will cover the entire area of filter beds. The work will be performed
at USCG Station MIlford Haven in Hudgins, VA. The period of performance
is 120 days after notice to proceed.. Estimated range is between $25K
and $100K. The SIC Code assigned for this procurement is 1799. Size
standard is $7 million. All responsible sources may submit an offer,

acquisition being solicited and awarded under the Small Business

Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates
to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
