The work to be accomplished under this contract consists of regrading of existing parking lot. Furnish, install and grade gravel base for proper drainage. Furnish and install 1 1/2" thick binder course and 1 1/2" thick wearing course pavements. Provide and install signs, striping, and pavement markings as indicated in the specifications. Also included in this solicitation will be Additive Bid Item #1; regrading of existing roadway to result in an 8" thick layer (compacted) of gravel base material, and Additive Bid Item #2; sawcut/remove existing pavement edge and crown existing gravel refuge road, furnish and install 1 1/2" thick binder course and 1 1/2" thick wearing course. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The SIC code for this acquisition is 1611; size standard is $17.0 million.
