Applications Contracting Office proposes to acquire 13 each Crash
Worthy Fuel Systems applicable to the A/MH-6 helicopter on an other
than full and open competitive basis from a small business firm
Robertson Aviation, Tempe Arizona. Robertson Aviation's part number for
the fuel system is HM-027. Inspection/Acceptance shall be at Origin.
The FOB Point is Destination. The Standard Industrial Classification
applicable to this contract action is 2470. The Size standard is 1000.
The fuel system is a commercial item. Commercial procedures at outline
at FAR Parts 12 and 13.6 are applicable. The RFP will be issued on 14
April 1998. The closing date is 24 April 1998. The Government owns no
technical data applicable to the fuel system. Robertson Aviation own
all design rights and is the only known manufacturer. The proposed
contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government
intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the
authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest
and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However,
all proposals received by the specified closing date will be considered
by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete
this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely
within the discretion of the Government. Information received will
normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to
