Markle (732) 323-7339 Aircraft Ground Servicing Equipment for the KC 130J aircraft, consisting of the following items: Vertical Lifting Tackle, P/N DAPT 70-0013-00, 2 ea. Beta Tube Spanner, P/N DAPT 65-0042-00, 2 ea. Bat Blade, P/N DAPT 60-0021-00, 2 ea. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications, data rights or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1. Dowty Aerospace Prop., East Gloucester, UK, as the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the equipment to be acquired, is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for the manufacture and requirements of the equipment involved. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22. (0100)
