The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to procure one- hundred-and-ninety-nine (199) Motorola Astro Vehicle Adapter kit and components (KIT) that are compatible with the previously purchased Astro Model H99DX 2-Way Radios. Each KIT will consist of: Motorola Model NTN1143-AVA W/Palm MIC; Model P2038- 35 Watt 136-174MHz Power Amp.; Model NTN4593-Battery, Medium Capacity Nicad; Model 58855270-Adapter BNC to UHF; and DQTRLBL150-Disguised Cellular Trunk Lip Antenna. Motorola is the only known source that can provide the KIT with a 100-percent guarantee of Radio-to-KIT compatibility from an operational and/or warranty preservation perspective. Any vendor capable of supplying the KITs with the Radio-to-KIT operational and warranty guarantees must provide suggested product literature and prices along with evidence (i.e., customer references or a Motorola certification) of successfully supplying Model H99DX components on prior occasions.
