Command (MSC) Headquarters has a requirement for paint, coatings, and
other preservation related products for the MSC worldwide fleet. The
products, which must be approved by MSC, are required for marine
applications including antifouling and underwater hull; compromised
surfaces; decks-nonskid; exterior; interior; tanks; and others. The
requirement is also for technical services supporting the MSC shipwide
paint program. The services include training, laboratory analysis, and
on-site field services to monitor shipyard applications. MSC
anticipates that the solicitation will be issued in late April or early
May with a 30 day response time for submission of proposals. The
resultant award is expected to be a five-year, Indefinite-Delivery type
contract under which orders will be issued as requirements materialize.
This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal, which shall be considered by MSC. Send written requests for
