Shepherd & Associates who will provide all, transportation, labor, equipment, materials to upload Model l09 S.N. 653 to total loading of 8,500 Ci. Co-60. the unit will be removed from it s present facility, sent to contractors hot cell for uploading, uploaded, reshipped to its present location and reinstalled. NIST traceable calibration will be performed in the uploaded unit and new certification of center cavity dose rate with new isodose curves will be provided, as well as certification of External Radiation Levels, Leak test and shipping documentation. At time of reloading preventive maintenance will be performed on the unit. If any major parts require replacement USUHS Using Activity will be notified with the decision if replacaement is desired. Delivery will require 90 days to prepare the new Co-60 sources. The removal of the unit will be timed so that it will arrive at contractors hot cell at the same time as the sources are delivered .
