It is restricted to the following approved sources: Castle Precision of Sylmar, CA.; Simmonds Precision of Cedar Knolls, NJ. and Sikorsky Helicopter of Stratford, CT. The Minimum Quantity is 271 each and the Maximum Quantity is 481 each, FOB Origin to New Cumberland Army Depot. A FFP 5 year Min/Max Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity is anticipated. The Overhaul/upgrade is to be performed IAW Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1680-332, dated 31 August 96, which shall be part of the solicitation. This is a restricted source solicitation because the Special Tooling, Fixtures and Test Equipment required by the DMWR is not available as Government furnished Material and proprietary rights are retained by Simmonds Precision.
