The YDP's Programmable Master Supervisory Control (PMSC) system currently does not meet the year 2000 compliance requirements. The PMSC system upgrade will be required to perform distributed control for the YDP facilities. The commercial items to be furnished under this Request for Quotation (RFQ) are PC-based open integrated distribution control system (DCS) software, IRTU computers and communication interfaces from existing IRTU's I/O hardware to new furnished DCS software. This includes 32 networking industrial standard 19-inch rack mounted computers to replace exising IRTU computers, provide all necessary engineering development services, computer hardware for communicating from new 32 IRTU rack mount computers to existing I/O hardware and performance testing.
