Base Bid Item: The work includes the removal of the existing wash area, which includes a concrete slab, oil separator, and all the equipment associated with the current wash system. The construction of a new pre engineered building to house the drive through vehicle wash system. The system includes a automatic drive through gantry wash system with all the necessary equipment to complete that system. The work also includes the installation of a new asphaltic concrete pavement, and emergency overflow drain line, and all the incidental related work to the project. Additive Bid Item 0001AA: Pressure Washer, high pressure, electric powered gas fired, stationary washer unit shall be fully automatic with appropriate safety controls. Unit shall supply 52 GPM at 3000 PSI, 15 HP, 230V/3HP/6HZ, 750,000 BTHU natural gas input. Along with the washer should be 100' additional wire braid hose, 150' spring rewind reel, 42" angulated wand, and controls . Additive Bid Item 0001AB: Undercarriage washer, 50 GPM @ 240 PSI fixed, surface mount spray manifolds with photcell vehicle detectors, and the necessary items to make the system operational in the wash area. Additive Bid Item 0001C: Carwash vacuum, to include the removal and proper disposal of the existing vacuum cleaner, and the purchase/installatin of new stainless steel car wash vacuum with the necessary attachments. Performace is at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California. Plans and specificatins will be available on or about May 11, 1998, until exhausted.
