Project shall be divided into a base item and an optional item. The base item includes provision of 8 new mechanical room additions of approximately 120 SF each (onto 8 existing duplex structure) to include 8 new oil fired boiler/burner units of 125 MBTUH each, 8 new 275 gallon fuel oil tanks, and the conversion of 4 housing units from electric to forced hot water heating systems and ancillary related work. The optional item includes the conversion of 12 housing units from electric to forced hot water heating systems and ancillary related work. Performance period shall be 120 calendar days under the base bid. Performance period shall be total 4 years under the optional bid item. SIC is 1711. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.
