Z -- AMBULATORY SURGERY RENOVATION SOL 558-63-98 DUE 052798 POC Amelia Evans (919) 286-6914 Ext. 6445 Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to perform all work required for Project No. 558-97-118, Ambulatory Surgery Renovation at the VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. Project consists of the renovation of existing surgical space on 4th floor, C-Wing and D-Wing, Building #1, VA Medical Center, Durham, NC to create two (2) new operating rooms and administrative space. Work includes but is not limited to: Demolish existing walls; install new walls; rework HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting in construction areas; demolish existing finishes, ceilings and flooring; install new wall finishes including paint, vinyl and new wall systems, new acoustical ceiling system, new vinyl composition flooring and carpeting; rework existing sprinkler system to fit new areas. All work to be performed for this project must meet all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electric Code (NEC), Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. (UL), and JCAHO Standards and Guidelines. Cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bidding material will be available on or about April 27, 1998, by written request only.
