S. Postal Service has a requirement for ERMCs which is a container approx. 6'Hx4'Wx2'D manufactured from welded steel tubing which is powder coated and has a stitched web front gate (door), plastic sheet liner, and four casters. Manufacture is in accordance with USPS specifications and drawings which are provided with the solicitation package. Requirement is for 50,000 units delivered FY-99 with an indefinite quantity maximum limit of 150,000 units which may be ordered as needed through FY-02. Delivery is FOB Destination to variouis USPS facilities. USPS seeks suppliers with a quality system in compliance with the ISO 9001 quality system model, or a quality system deemed equivalent by the USPS. Solicitation is expected to be issued o/a April 30, 1998 and proposals will be required within 30 days after issuance.
