Disregard previous addenda to FAR Clauses 52.212-1 and 52.212-2. Solicitation is amended to include the information below. The following is added to SPECIFICATIONS: (6) Software and Utility specified shall be complete and ready for use by the Government within 2 weeks from date of award. Anticipated date of award is May 1, 1998. The number of items is corrected from 6 to 5. The following information is added to ITEM 2: Eleven CD-ROM/Diskettes, with password if required. Addenda to FAR Clause 52.212-1 is amended as follows. Facsimile offers and modifications are permitted. All offerors must provide evaluation factor information with submission of offer. All offers must provide -- (1) Information supporting adequacy of proposed software to comply or exceed specifications. Information should be as comprehensive as possible and must be sufficient so as to allow proper evaluation of proposed software. (2) Offers must provide a price for each item listed and a total of all items for each period plus a summary total for all periods combined. (3) Past performance information should include references of existing and/or prior contracts for similar software and service, with point of contract. It should show offerors capabilty to provide support service. (4) Offerors must provide written assurance that all software is available for use within the required time frame. The Evaluation factors of Solicitation are changed as follows: Evaluation factors to be included in FAR Clause 52.212-2 are amended to read the following factors (1) thru (4). The evaluation factors are (1) Compliance with Solicitation Specifications or exceeding those Specifications; (2) Price; and (3) Past Performance of similar contracts and capability to provide specified support service; and (4) Availability of software. The time requirement is availability for intended usage by the Government within 2 weeks after contract award. All other information remains the same. (0100)
